2013 events

Regular: Bushcraft Club in partnership with Dorset Forest School. For children 8+. Meet at Thorncombe Woods near Dorchester for one day every half term and regularly throughout the main school holidays. The club is now in its second year and is proving very popular. Children are very welcome to come for a one-off session but we are also attracting a regular group and supporting them to build a real understanding of bushcraft and the woodland throughout the seasons. Bushcraft is a perfect medium for empowering children's self-esteem, self-sufficiency and creativity as well as an understanding and respect for their natural environment. A Forest school session also runs simultaneously for under 8's. For further info: www.dorsetforestschool.org
